Vince Kehres lettered in football, baseball, and swimming. In 1993 he was selected All Stark County and All Federal League in football. At the University of Mount Union he was a member of 11 national championships as a player, assistant coach, or head coach. At the University of Toledo he was nominated for the Art Broyles Award in 2022 which is given to the top assistant coach in college football.
