TREY NICHOLSON AHS Class of 1984
George “Trey” Nicholson, a 1984 graduate of Alliance High School, was a four-year varsity starter and letterman in football. He was a member of the 1983 undefeated regular season team. He was honorable mention All-State Football in 1982 and 1983. Trey’s other football achievements at AHS include First Team All-Stark County and First-Team All-NEO District in both 1982 and 1983 and First Team All-Federal-League in 1983. He was voted team captain on the 1983 football team. He also achieved All-Ohio status in track,. Trey went on to play football at Snow Junior College and earned First-Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-America in both his freshman and sophomore years. He was voted team captain for the Snow team in 1985. He was a member of the first and only undefeated NJCAA national championship team in 1985. Trey then played for Oregon State University on an athletic scholarship. He and his wife, Stephanie live in Salt Lake City, Utah, with their three children. Trey serves as a position coach for the West High School football team coaching running backs and defensive backs. |
