MILTON SNODGRASS          AHS Class of 1972
Milton Snodgrass, a 1972 AHS graduate, was a two-year letter winner in football and a two-time state qualifier in track at Alliance.  He held the 100 as well as the 440 record time for many years at Alliance before it was broken by Antoine Blair.  Milt also participated in wrestling at Alliance.
Snodgrass later went on to become a five-time All-American in track at powerful Mount Union College competing in the long jump, 100 meters and four-by-100 relay.  He held the Mount Union long jump record for 20 years.  He is considered one of the greatest track athletes ever at both Alliance High School and Mount Union College.
He graduated from Mount Union with a BA in Business Administration.  Milton Snodgrass, who lives in Alliance, is the assistant superintendent at Alliance Castings (formerly American Steel Foundries).
