LOUIS BANKS AHS Class of 1997
Louis Banks ‘97 was a two-sport standout in football and basketball at AHS. He was named WHBC Most Valuable Player in basketball in both his Junior and Senior seasons. He helped lead the Aviators to an 8-2 record and the 1996 Federal League Championship in football, his senior year. During his senior year, Banks was named All-Federal League first team in football and basketball. Also as a senior, Louis was named football first team, All-Stark County and All-Northeast Inland District. He was awarded All-Ohio special mention in football his senior year. After playing at Akron University, Banks now is a junior at Kent State University. Louis plans to attend an NFL combine workout later this year. |
