KEN ZUPANIC AHS Class of 1967
A 1967 graduate of Alliance High School, Ken Zupanic lettered in football and baseball. He was named best offensive back after the 1966 season. Zupanic went on to have a standout baseball career for Malone College earning All-Conference and All-District honors and continued to compete in the Canton Class “A” Baseball League, earning recognition as a member of the Greater Stark County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. Zupanic served as Head Volleyball coach at AHS from 1986 to 1993. He has also coached at State Street Middle School, Mount Union College and the Alliance area football, Tri-City Titans. He is currently employed by Alliance City Schools as a health and physical education teacher. Ken has been an assistant softball coach for the Marlington High School team since 1993. |
