EDWARD WITHAM JR. AHS Class of 1998
Witham was a three-year letter winner in both football and baseball at Alliance and earned All-Federal League honors in both sports. He was first-team All-Ohio in baseball his junior and senior year at AHS. In football, he played outside linebacker for the Aviators while earning all-league honors. Ed is a graduate of Wright State University, in Dayton, Ohio, where he majored in elementary education, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.95 GPA. He served as a teaching assistant for the Physics Department at Wright State in 2001. He was a graduate assistant for the Education Administration, Research and Foundations Office at Youngstown State University from 2003-2004 and earned his Administrative certificate in 2004. Ed is the first-ever head football coach at Youngstown Christian School which began its football program in the fall of 2004, a former football coach at Alliance and Marlington High School and served as a football coach at Baker Junior High and Green High School. He and his wife, Kim, and daughter, Leah, reside in Alliance. |
