Dr. Earl Sheehan – Graduated 1915; Inducted 1967
Following graduation from high school, Dr. Earl Miller Sheehan entered the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. While there, he was a member of Psi Omega, a dental fraternity and the Apollonian Society, a benevolent organization that assists dental students.
Upon graduation from Ohio State, Dr. Sheehan returned to Alliance to set up his dental practice and has remained a lifetime resident. He has served as president of the Stark County Dental Society.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Sheehan has devoted much of his time to the Boy Scout movement. An Eagle Scout himself, Dr. Sheehan has served in many positions with the McKinley Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, including terms as vice president and president. In recognition of his work, the National Boy Scout Council has awarded him the Silver Beaver Award and the Silver Antelope Award. The latter is the second highest award possible in scouting for adult leadership volunteers.
