The Class of ’65 Scholarship was established in August 2015 as part of the 50th reunion celebration. Fellow class members wanted to create a lasting legacy that reflects how their time spent at AHS has shaped and enriched their lives. The scholarship was dedicated in honor of the many teachers and administrators that guided and supported class members during their years at the high school. The initial funding efforts raised over $30,000.00 through gifts and pledges needed to permanently endow the scholarship with the AHS Foundation. Class members and friends are encouraged to continue supporting the scholarship through annual fund and memorial gifts directed to the Class of ’65 Scholarship.
