BRENDEN ANDERSON AHS Class of 1984
Brenden Anderson was a standout in football and baseball at AHS. He was co-captain and a two-way starter for the Aviator’s 10-0 (regular season) 1983 Federal League Championship football team which advanced to the post-season playoffs. An outstanding receiver, he was first team All-Stark County and Honorable Mention All-Ohio in football during his senior season. He also earned All-Stark County honors in baseball as a senior. After graduation, Brenden earned a B.A. degree in economics from DePauw University and a master’s degree in finance and management from Loyola University in Chicago. He spent seven years in commercial banking in Chicago with American National Bank and the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. In 1995 he returned to northeast Ohio and started the Mast Group to purchase and operate niche businesses. Mast now has investments in industrial real estate and plans to open a start-up commercial bank in Chicago before the end of 1999. He is also a director on DePauw University’s Alumni Board and a member of the career services committee. Brenden lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his wife, Marnee, and two-year old twin sons, Collin and Trent. |
