Charlie Winner has been an invaluable figure in Alliance athletics through decades of dedicated service and volunteer leadership. Charlie served as Membership Chairman for the Aviator Sports Boosters, playing a major role in strengthening community support for Alliance student-athletes. He was also a vital contributor to the Bean Gansel Scholarship, helping provide meaningful opportunities for graduating Aviators. 
Beyond his leadership, Charlie’s hands-on commitment can be seen throughout Alliance High School athletic facilities. He installed and maintained essential systems across multiple venues and was instrumental in the creation of the AHS Wrestling Room, leaving a lasting physical impact on the program.
In recognition of his countless hours of volunteer work and unwavering support of Aviator Athletics, Charlie was honored with the prestigious OHSAA State Award. His legacy is defined by service, generosity, and an extraordinary dedication to the Alliance community.
